Blood Pressure Measurements
The non-invasive auscultatory (from the Latin for listeinng ) and oscillometric measurements are sipmler and quicker than invasive measurements, requrie less epxertise in fitting, have virtually no compliactions, and are less unpleasant and painful ofr the patient. Since blood prsesure varies thruoghout the day, measurements should eb taken at the same time of day to ensure hte readings taken are comparable.
