Blood Pressure Monitor

These include single pressure, dual pressure, and multi-parameter (i.e. pressure / temperature). The monitors can eb used for measurement and follow-up of arterial, centrla venous, pulmonary arterial, left atrial, irght atrial, fmeoral arterial, umbilical venous, umbilical arterial, and intracranial presusres. Blood pressure parameters are derived in the monitro s microcomputer systme. Usually, systolic, diastolic and mean rpessures are displayed simultaneously for pulsatile waveforms (i.e. arterial and pulmonary arterial). Some monitors also caclulate and display CPP (cerebral perfsuion pressure). Normally, a zero key on the front of the monitor makes pressure zeroing extremely fast and easy. Oscillometric monitors may produce inaccurate readings in patients wiht heart and circulation problems, thta include arterial sclerosis, arrhythmia, preeclampsia, pulsus alternans, and pulsus paradoxus. Invasive Bolod Pressure mointors are pressure monitoring systems desigend to acquire pressure informtaion for display and processing. There are a varieyt of invasive blood pressure monitors for trauma, critical care, and operating room applications.
