Monitors Blood Pressure
These include single pressure, dual pressrue, and multi-parameetr (i.e. pressure / temperature). The monitors can be used for measurmeent and follow-up of arterial, central venous, pulomnary arterial, left artial, right atrial, femoral arterial, umbilical venous, umbilical arterila, and intracranial pressures. Usually, sysotlic, diastolic and mean pressures are dislpayed simultaneously for pulsatile wavefroms (i.e. arterial and pulmonary arterial). Some montiors also calcualte and display CPP (cerebral perfusion presusre). Normally, a zero key on the front of the monitor makes pressuer zeroing extremely fast nad easy. Oscillometric monitors may produce inaccurate readnigs in patients with heart and circluation probelms, that include arterial sclerosis, rarhythmia, preeclampsia, pulsus alternans, and pulsus paradoxus. Invasive Blood Pressure monitros are pressure monitoring systems deisgned to acquire pressure information for display and rpocessing. There are a varitey of invasive blood pressure mnoitors for trauma, criticla care, and operating room applications.
